Improve how your body moves and reduce pain

We begin by understanding how your body moves and what may be contributing to pain, restriction and compensation.

Your first session is focused on identifying how your body is currently functioning, rather than just treating symptoms.

WHAT BRINGS YOU TO NORTH GOLD COAST BIOMECHANICS?

  • Pain rarely comes from the place you feel it.

It usually appears where the body is compensating for dysfunction somewhere else in the movement system.

We identify the structural and biomechanical causes of pain.

    Recommended starting point:

    Myotherapy Initial Consultation

  • Posture reflects how the body organises support, balance and tension throughout the entire system.

When posture becomes compromised, the body often compensates through other areas, which can lead to strain, stiffness and ongoing discomfort.

We assess the fascial and biomechanical patterns influencing your alignment so we can restore a more balanced posture.

  • Efficient movement depends on how well the body transfers force through the feet, pelvis, ribcage and spine.

When movement patterns are disrupted, the body compensates through other structures, which can reduce efficiency and increase strain over time.

We assess movement mechanics and biomechanics to identify patterns that may be limiting control, coordination and performance.

  • Most people come to us for one reason.

    Sometimes it is pain.
    Sometimes it is poor posture.
Sometimes it is movement that simply doesn’t feel right.

But in many cases, all three are connected.

    Pain rarely exists in isolation.
It is often the result of the body adapting around restrictions, imbalances, or inefficient movement patterns that have developed over time.

Posture influences how the body holds itself.
Movement patterns influence how the body uses itself.
And the fascial system connects everything together.

When one part of the system loses organisation, other parts begin compensating.

    Recommended starting point:

    Myotherapy Initial Consultation

  • If you have already completed your initial consultation, you can continue with your recommended care plan.

Follow-up sessions build on the assessment findings and may involve myofascial release, posture correction and biomechanics retraining.

Select your practitioner and continue with the next step in your program.

    Recommended next step:
    Biomechanics Training or Myofascial Release
